TOPYA! P1- SKILLS CONTEST

We're constantly coming up with new ways to get your kids to put down the phone and pick up the soccer ball. Well, as a perk of us being a Players First club, we have a unique and fun opportunity to get them to want to do just that!

Our club is participating in the 2019 P1-licensed Club Kickoff Contest, a virtual skills contest focused on player engagement and development. Players complete exclusive P1 soccer skills in the TopYa! Soccer app to earn points while they climb the contest leaderboard to compete for prizes. Players watch skill videos, then practice the skill and upload a video of them completing it. Each player will receive personalized feedback on every video they submit from TopYa!’s expert team of Virtual Coaches!

The best part is the contest is completely FREE for our club and any of our members, although it is geared more toward U8 and older.

Here’s how easy it is for players to join:
    6.    Go to https://app.topya.com/contests/p1-licensed-club-kickoff-contest
    7.    Click the “Join the Contest” button, select our club, and select the second “Join the Contest” button
    8.    Enter your mobile # to receive a text containing a unique link to download the free TopYa! Soccer app
    9.    Once you have the app, create a Player account
    10.    Once you’re in the app, head over to the Skills Academy to find the P1 skills you want to work on and get going!

The fine print and important info:
    •    The contest runs September 1-30
    •    While this is a free contest, there are in-app purchase options where players can purchase additional skills content to work on. Again, this is by no means required and most players will not even see the purchasable content options.
    •    Any player under the age of 13 is required to have an associated parent account in the TopYa! Soccer app. This is for safety and privacy compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
